In order to inherit money, voice coach Shemp must marry a woman before 6 PM. The only problem is, no girl will accept his proposal. Finally, a repulsive student with a horrendous voice agrees to marry him. But when the rest of the prospective brides hear about the inheritance, they all show up at the ceremony and a free for all ensures. Shem marries before the deadline, but wishes he was still a free man.
